Portable Perfection my butt.  Microsoft has definitely failed this claim, these are my gripes with the Zune HD.  If anyone has any workarounds for this send me some advice.

The Zune HD  has no screen lock that does not also black out the screen, Making videos a hassle to watch in may instances. (windows Mobile has this feature so it should be easy to impliment).

When returning from the screen lock you are not always returned to the item you are/were playing.  Just hitting play starts the music on random so even getting back where you were can be a pain. (yes i know about the history)

No Custom backgrounds (no offense Matt[skipdeez] but this was a stupid thing to remove)  firstly the screen in not so cluttered that it would mess things up and secondly, if it was that would have been poor device design. Give it back.

The screen flickers some times. WTF, do I have a defective one?

No network connectivity over internet sharing, so for instance it doesn’t support WMwifirouter (the iPod Touch has it, so does windows mobile, and I can even do it from the Nintendo DS, Wii, and PSP). Devices that don’t support adhoc often don’t work but the Zune and Zune HD do so what is the deal.

No way to mark a podcast as played, or after playing it to mark it as unplayed to save it (all other versions of the zune have this why is it gone).

No SD output over the headphone jack.  (This was the whole reason I own my zune 120).  Needing some damn base makes this hugely less the ultimate video machine that they want it to be.

No lanyard loop (come on, they fit one in the other Flash based players) My Zune 120gb has a case with a lanyard lopp maybe some one will make one for the zune HD

Again if anyone has any work around for these gripes please help.
